WIP Fireaxe Prop

This year I'm going to be a DayZ "survivor". The only 2 things I'm missing are a backpack, and the fireaxe.

Here's the crafting process of the head:

Here's the carving process of the handle(I forgot to take a picture of the material I started with, before I jig sawed the basic shape). It started out as two 4' pieces of wood, that I then glued together.

The next step will be paint!(as soon as the humidity goes down)

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd this was unintentional... But awesome!

DayZ: 3 vs ME

So the story is... I shot the last guy in the video, took his bandages, and let him live. Came back to find him running around, and 2 more of his buddies. They didn't seem happy. So here is what happened.

Valve shits on its fans, and their art.

I receiver legal notice from Valve today about 2 Botkiller Spy Heads I produced. It's fan art because it's not something that even exists in their game. It's my depiction of a fun trinket, and they claimed copyright. Unfortunately I don't have a financial leg to stand on, or else I'm humiliate them up an down all across th internet. FUCK YOU VALVE, AND FUCK YOU Dawn Dempsey!

Here's the email:
